Yvonne Goodwin Hall McKain, first husband was Edward Joseph Hall, railway engine driver and later a horticulturalist, second husband Douglad McKain, engineer for NZ Electricity Dept. William Richard Keys (Yvonne's Grandfather) had four daughters, one not mentioned was Hilda Keys who died earlier.

'Built by Ethel Goodwin, nee Keys, wife of Jim Goodwin. Ethel's parents owned farm Oxford Cres area with slaughter house also owned Keys Butchery, meat supplied from farm. Jim Goodwin started 'Tip Top Milk Bar' in centre shop, later taken over by his son Bill. One of the first 'Tip Top Milk Bars' in the country. Dorothy Keys, Ethel's sister started the Dorothy Book Club lending library in the south end shop. Ida Keys, Ethel's sister, married Ron Stroud. Ida Calvert (nee Goodwin) daughter of Ethel & Jim Goodwin, sister of Yvonne Mrs McKain, sister of Bill Goodwin, started Marigold Beauty Salon women's hair dresser in north end shop.'

The Marigold Beauty Salon was run by Ida Goodwin (later Calvert), the niece of Dorothy Keys.
The car at left is a 1938 Chevrolet Coupe parked with the boot open which belonged to Mr Jim Goodwin.
Billy Goodwin, son of Jim Goodwin, is on the verandah roof.
