Photographer UnknownDescriptionThe lattice structures are unidentified; beyond is a fume-extraction system drawing air from the two dump mills, beneath the mixer; it is amost all fibreglass, and the fan needed 125 kW.

The tower on the factory building houses the plant's second internal mixer; the first was installed in 1973, and had a 1500 horsepower (1125 kW) variable-speed direct-current motor; slightly large and more modern versions were used from 1993.
