DescriptionThese are Dunlop 10A/12 machines. A cylindrical 'pocket of two layers of cloth-covered 'tyre cord' went on first; then bead assemblies were added (the'drawing pins' on the floor positioned the left-side beads) and then further layers came from the sloping trays behind the machines; tread-and-sidewall rubber pieces are on the top of the shelf units.Date takenOct 1949ThemeDunlop Tyre Factory
