Photographer UnknownDescriptionA new set-up in the finishing shop was commissioned in 1987; this is one of three 'viewing' stations where tyres would be checked for faults after unwanted rubber had been trimmed off.

Tyres were pushed off the side of a conveyor onto the sloping rollers, and the tyre is standing on a table which could be rotated. Rejected tyres went one way, to the charge hand; the rest went to a sorting conveyor.

Olympic was a Dunlop brand in Australia; the Javelin pattern was introduced in 1996; but the cap badge is for the 1998 Dunlop Monza 200.Date takenAfter 1998Geotag^[1]ThemeDunlop Tyre Factory
